At the beginning of January, I dyed my hair. I mean, I bleached it twice (newb), ran a toner through it, then set grey dye in with purple streaks. My hair died a little that day, but I was happy. I used to dye my hair every color of the rainbow back in high school when I had a long-ish pixie cut, which is way more manageable to bleach and color.
This time, my hair was curly and down to my ass. When the whole process was done, I trimmed about two inches off. The bleaching process almost completely straightened my hair. I missed the curls, but I figured this would probably be the one and only time I do this in my adult life. Plus, I take a lot of supplements, which help my hair grow pretty fast.
On average, hair growth for a Caucasian woman is 5 inches per year. Since I first dyed my hair 10 months ago, it has grown close to six inches. Looks like I’m slightly above average. I’m also 35 and when you hit your 30s, hair growth can slow down a bit. Mine definitely did. Not only that, it was thinning! The LLV supplements got me right back on track with having my thinning hair grow back in. For the above average hair growth, I definitely attribute that to the Bone Nutrient Essential Complex.
Check out the photo below. The picture on the right was after 3 months of taking the LLV. I was impressed with all the baby hairs growing back in where it had been thinning. To the left is my new, grown in, full looking hairline! At that point I had been taking LLV for 6 months. The purple hair dye really brings out the difference.
I started taking the Bone Nutrient Lifetime Complex in February of 2019. That made my hair grow even faster! It has been 10 months since I first dyed my hair. We are not even through a full year of hair growth and my hair is growing faster than average. Right now my roots measure 5.75 inches. As per this article, the average growth for my hair type is 5 inches per year. I’m nearly an inch ahead.
Maybe you’re a teenager and your hair grew like my hair did at your age. FAST! But for everyone over 30, it can get a little challenging maintaining your locks.
UPDATE: Check out a photo of my hair growth after one year on Bone Nutrient Lifetime Complex!
I mean, just look at it. It didn’t even get that frizzy or break off. It stayed thick looking, which is really hard for bleached hair as it can look like a frizzy fluff ball or thin and scraggly. I attribute this to the bone supplement and the LLV keeping my hair healthy through the bleaching process. I simply kept up with keeping it moisturized, which allowed a little natural curl to come back. But I had a good base layer. I had good hair to start with before I bleached it, which allowed it to survive the abuse.
Here’s a recap of my once thinning hair before and after Life Long Vitality vitamins:
Just look at the difference between my thinning hair (right) and then a year’s worth of growth (left). I started noticing changes in my hair line just within 3 months of being on doTERRA’s Life Long Vitality vitamins. Six months later, you couldn’t even tell that I had thinning hair. One year later, well, we’re in the swing of things at that point. The vitamin pack comes with omegas. I took the fish oil based omega for 6 months and then the flax seed oil based vegan omega for 6 months. I found both products to work very similar based on how I felt and my hair growth. I just prefer the flax seed oils based omegas for my skin and hair.
Below is my hair before I bleached it. It has never looked this lustrous. Thank you LLV! ❤️ Remember, I started the bone supplement a month after I bleached it. So the photo below is just with me taking LLV. I have taken the vegan version (plant-based omegas) and to me they both work just as great.
As far as dancing goes, I can tell a major difference. The whole reason I started taking the Bone Nutrient Lifetime Complex was that as the more advanced moves I learned, the more I felt “creaky” or like marbles were rolling around in my neck. If you know anything about bachata styled dancing, then you know it is a lot of body isolations, styling, and hip and back movement.
As you can see in the video below, the female does a lot of graceful head whips. This requires great form. It feels less comfortable when you have rocks rolling around every time you try to whip your hair and look cute. Within two weeks of starting the bone supplements, I felt stronger in my neck and those marbles rolling around went away.
Segway, y’all. When I first moved to Los Angeles 6 years ago, I didn’t have a car. I walked, ran when I was running late (which was a lot), or rode a bicycle when I had access to one. This was my routine for 3 years until I was gifted a car you guys! While not having a car I also rode in huge community bicycle rides all over Los Angles and parts of Orange County just to get out and meet new friends. Needless to say, I was buff.
I was bloated with inflammation most of the time, which made me a bit overweight for my height. Read here to see how I lost the water weight and inflammation with essential oils. I’ve also rode a bike for most of my childhood and part of my late 20s (even when I had a car) before I moved to Los Angeles. I previously lived in Detroit and pedaled through the winter seasons. I loved riding in the snow.
I also got hit on my bike by a car at a low speed, which led to most, if not all, my neck and back issues. Those issues have cleared up with the LLV (vegan version!) and the Bone Nutrient Essential Complex. I just recently started taking a dual chamber capsule of turmeric. The dual encapsulation turns it into a “time release” capsule, which helps the turmeric to last longer in your system. I love it. Any time I have some inflammation that pops up, I take this and it works throughout the day. In fact, I take it everyday to keep my rosacea down Rosacea is basically inflammation in your gut. The rosacea went down a significant amount with just the LLV, but even more so with the turmeric.
Also, when I started dancing, my knees would ache. Guess it’s a part of getting older when you’re super active. After starting the bone supplements, my knees felt so much better. So did my feet! They don’t even hurt anymore. I could last dancing a lot longer into the night, which is heaven to me as I love to dance my cares away until the ballroom closes. Then it’s time for tacos! 🌮
Oh, oh, oh! I almost forgot. My vision improved slightly too! This emoji can wear glasses for me instead. 🤓
UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE
Omg, you guys! My hair grew nearly 2.5 inches more than the average for Caucasian hair. This may not seem like much to anyone in their 20s. You’re probably rolling your eyes. NEWB, When you hit your 30s, things can, well, change. Your hair grows slower, your periods are different, your breasts are gradually giving into gravity. So you get excited when things tend to go like in your 20s. My hair grew 7.5 inches in a year. Eek!
MMM….yeah. I approve this growth!
I’d say being 30 is a great age to start prepping your skin and hair to remain youthful for as long as possible. I’m 35 and always receive many compliments that I do not look my age. Honestly, if you could read me with some sort of infrared device that shows all of the essential oils in my body I’d be a glowing rainbow.
It wasn’t always like this though. When I was 30/31. I felt and looked like crap. I felt like every decision every person made on my behalf was hanging on my skin like a shirt on a clothesline. In my first post I talked about how I was forced on Ritalin, Cylert, and then Adderrall for 10 years of my child/teenhood. I was left with a lot of health issues for many years. Everything I went through was weighing down on my emotionally, spiritually, and physically. That’s when Doterra and Sozo (Christian spiritual counseling) came into my life and changed it forever. 🥰
Here is the Bone Nutrient Essential Complex at a glance for all you nerds that read labels like I do…
